Additional note on installation of the factory seal: We are seeing these seals installed incorrectly quite often. The face of the seal is INSET by 5mm from the face of the housing. Quite common for us to see shops set the seal flush. When that is done the second lip of the seal is not riding on the wear ring properly. The factory tool has that 5mm step to set the correct inset. Here are a couple of pictures to highlight. If installing manually, you will need to make sure the deal is inset from the flange by that same 5mm.
